Sun Room

The sun room is an addition on the rear of the house accessed by a large door at the end of the long foyer. This addition was constructed in the early 1900s by U.S. Senator Charles James Faulkner II, and opens to the courtyard area which features brick and stone walls, an expansive brick patio, a root cellar, summer kitchen, gazebo (with ice pit below) and finally the fort/smokehouse. This room is available for intimate weddings and parties accommodating roughly 50 people.
